Mr. Hippo wears a top hat， and he is a great magician. 河马先生戴着顶大礼帽，他是个了不起的魔术师。 One day，Mr. Hippo appeared on a stage， he showed his hat to let everybody see it was empty， then covered it with a piece of white handkerchief， speaking something. Then，he let Mr Rabbit came up to the stage and put his hand into the top hat. The rabbit cought a large dove out of it. The big dove clapped his wings and flied away.
一天，河马先生登台表演，他摘下大礼帽，让大伙看看里面是空的，然后盖上一块白手绢，嘴里念念有词。他请兔子先生上台，把手伸进礼帽，兔子从帽子里抓出个大白鸽。大白鸽拍拍翅膀飞走了。
A fox saw these， he said with his saliva flowing： "Mr Hippo is amazing， change again！" Mr. Hippo covered the hat with the handkerchief， speaking something again. The fox rushed onto the stage and said： "Let me touch this time！" The fox was anxious to put his hand into this hat. He cried out"alas！". He cought a little hedgehog. The hedgehog stabbed him， made a face and ran away.
一只狐狸看到了，他流着口水说：“河马先生真了不起，再变一个吧！” 河马先生又把手绢盖在礼帽上，嘴里念念有词。狐狸冲上台说：“这次让我来摸！” 狐狸急着把手伸进礼帽。就“哎哟哟”地叫了起来。原来他抓出了一个小刺猬。刺猬刺了他一下，做个鬼脸逃跑了。
The fox escaped from the laughing crowd，swinging his injured hand.
狐狸甩着受伤的手，在大家的哄笑中逃跑了。
